# Emby on unRaid
|
|
|
|
Arcane Git Sync deployment for the official Emby Server image.
|
|
|
|
## Endpoint
|
|
|
|
- Web setup: `http://192.168.50.100:8097`
|
|
- Container HTTP port: `8096/tcp`
|
|
|
|
Jellyfin already owns the default Emby/Jellyfin ports on this host, so this
|
|
project intentionally does not publish `8920/tcp`, `7359/udp`, or `1900/udp`.
|
|
Clients should add the server manually by URL when automatic LAN discovery is
|
|
not available.
|
|
|
|
## Persistent data
|
|
|
|
- Config: `/mnt/user/appdata/EmbyServer/config`
|
|
- Transcode scratch: `/mnt/user/appdata/EmbyServer/transcode`
|
|
|
|
After the first-run wizard, set Emby's transcoding temporary path to
|
|
`/transcode`.
|
|
|
|
## Media library paths
|
|
|
|
The container paths match the existing Plex layout so applications do not need
|
|
a second path convention:
|
|
|
|
- `/mnt/unraid/movies`
|
|
- `/mnt/unraid/movie4k`
|
|
- `/mnt/unraid/tv-shows`
|
|
- `/mnt/unraid/tv4k`
|
|
- `/mnt/truenas/multimedia`
|
|
|
|
All media is mounted read-only. Emby may write only to `/config` and
|
|
`/transcode`.
|
|
|
|
Hardware acceleration is deliberately not exposed in the initial deployment.
|
|
The current Plex container has no explicit GPU device mapping. Add a verified
|
|
`/dev/dri` device or NVIDIA runtime configuration only after checking the
|
|
intended GPU and its group permissions on the host.
